Investigation of The Effect of Temperature and Contamination on Properties of Saturated Salt-Base mud

The most difficult challenge that can be encountered when drilling a salt section is the difficulty of controlling change in fluid properties. Moreover, investigation studied effect temperature contaminants such as salt, shale anhydrite (Rheological properties, Filtration, PH with Different concentrations Kcl & Nacl. results indicate dissolution decreases increasing KCl concentration 5% saturating NaCl salt. This reduces contaminant impact increases stability characteristics.
